We have been a certified provider of Texas HCS Day Habilitation (sometimes known as Day Hab) since 2007, proudly serving individuals and families across Brazoria and Galveston Counties. Day Habilitation services help individuals with disabilities develop and maintain essential life skills, form meaningful friendships, and achieve greater personal independence.
Under recent Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) guidelines, Day Habilitation is transitioning into Individualized Skills Socialization (ISS). Above & Beyond Caring provides comprehensive on-site and community-integrated ISS options tailored directly to each person's Individual Plan of Care (IPC).
Daily Activities at Our Angleton Center
Creative Arts & Expression
Painting, ceramics, crafts, and music that encourage self-expression, fine motor coordination, and sensory joy.
Community Outings
Weekly trips to local parks, libraries, grocery stores, bowling alleys, and cultural spots across Brazoria County.
Culinary & Life Skills
Hands-on practice with meal preparation, table setting, basic hygiene, and personal independence skills.
Social Skills & Peer Bonding
Group games, team discussions, and social events where lasting friendships blossom in a safe environment.
Angleton Day Hab Facility Highlights
- Convenient Location: 744 East Henderson Road, Angleton, TX 77515 with ample parking and fully accessible van drop-off zones.
- Experienced Caregivers: Highly trained direct support professionals (DSPs) certified in CPR/First Aid and positive behavioral intervention.
- Flexible Scheduling: Full-day and part-day options Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
